SSB Head Constable (Ministerial) Hindi: instructions
- This mock test follows the skill test for SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) Head Constable (Ministerial): 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer, in one continuous 10-minute test.
- 30 words per minute means 9,000 key depressions per hour (1,500 in 10 minutes), counting 5 key depressions as one word.
- Type as much of the passage as you can, as accurately as you can. Speed and accuracy are not shown while you type.
- Mistakes up to 5% of the words you type are allowed. For every mistake beyond that, 10 words are taken off your total.
- Speed is worked out over the full 10 minutes. The test is submitted automatically when the time is over.
- Hindi is typed on the Remington layout, shown here in the Kruti Dev font. No extra software is needed.
Don’ts
- Don’t paste text or use shortcut keys. Paste is turned off.
- Don’t press Enter at the end of each line: lines wrap by themselves.
